I am making a new game and hoping to release it next year. I am excited to make this! No finished art work to post yet but I will post a drawing of "Trixy Skyhigh (The Micro Raptor)". She is a cartoon character for the game's tutorial and will give general information about the game.
This game is a top-down 2d shooter where you play as a bugbot
searching for energy crystals, watching out for enemies and obstacles.
The demo only has two levels, full game has all 10 levels.
Its been a crazy and stressful year but I am done. I will be working
on another game right after this but I am still deciding if to make a
second BugBots game or a dragon game I want make. It all depends on how well this game does in sells.
This year I have been to 3 indie game expos showing of my game and got
good feed back as well as helpful critiques. I thank those guys and
others who gave my good advise on Riddit.
I am working on level 4 and will work on level 5 next week. In this level the lay out is different than the last 3. Navigating and collecting crystals are going to be a bit trickier where you have to beware of ambushes and large groups of enemies.
This is my first game ever! I am hoping to finished this small game in
